This course examines the role of the teacher as facilitator of learning within contexts of children, youth, adults, familiies in the local church, and single adults. It analyzes the cultural, theological, social, political, and economic underpinnings of oppressive methods of teaching and equips its students with two systematic and comprehensive pedagogies for the empowerment and liberation of the Black Church.
